MedHack, a dynamic hackathon, orchestrated by MTC.FMSF and the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax, kicked off on January 21, 2023, at 12 A.M, culminating on January 22, 2023, at 5 P.M. This electrifying event pitted 15 teams against each other, a fusion of medical and computer science students from diverse faculties, each member contributing unique expertise.

The event's grand inauguration featured an inspiring opening ceremony with Mr. Walid M’hiri extending a warm welcome, followed by words of wisdom from Dr. Olfa Chakroun Walha and Dr. Ali Ghorbel.

Participants immersed themselves in three enlightening workshops: one focusing on design, another delving into the intricacies of medical equipment, and a third honing presentation skills.

The hackathon's theme, "the role of medical equipment in diagnosis and prevention," was unveiled by the MedHack team, setting the stage for teams to work tirelessly until the following day to submit their projects.

The climax arrived with a riveting closing ceremony, during which teams showcased their innovative projects to a distinguished jury comprising doctors, professors, and investors. Prizes were awarded to the top three projects, recognizing outstanding creativity and problem-solving. MedHack, at its core, was a celebration of innovation and collaboration at the intersection of medicine and technology.
